MAL Library 2.5.1 is now available for App Store and outside the app store. It fixes a bug that causes the program to crash if the columns are manipulated in Manga Search view.
Also, MAL Library 3.0 is being worked on, which adds Kitsu and AniList support. While you won’t be able to sync changes to all three services yet, we plan on doing it in a future release after implementing this change.
With 3.0, MAL Library will only be available on the Mac App Store for $5. Existing users who bought it from the App Store will be able to get the update for free. This is because of development costs in making MAL Library and MAL Updater OS X and the lack of Patreon support. The source will still be available for free for users to compile. However, users who compile from source will have no support and must set up their own Atarashii-API server and create API keys for Kitsu and Anilist.
An alpha release will release in January 2018 for App Store users only. On launch, it will check for a downloaded copy from the Mac App Store.
