Hachidori 3.1.5 Released

April 10, 2019 By malupdaterosxdev

Hachidori 3.1.5 is now released, which is mostly a stability release. How the detected and last scrobble status is stored caused issues for some users as the program will crash after a long period of time in some instances. Now instead of storing the status of the current service’s scrobble status, it will be accessed directly depending on what service you are currently using.

I have performed a stress test on a Mac Mini with automatic scrobble on while the computer played a playlist of episodes on repeat. From testing, it didn’t crash after several hours, of running. Also in this new version is a crash report dialog that will appear after you relaunch the program after a crash. You will gain the opportunity to describe the steps you took to reproduce the bug and an option to include the Hachidori.log file, which will help us aid with the bug fix process. If you disabled crash reporting and statistics collection, this won’t show up nor you can send a crash report.

New Features

  • Added crash reporter dialog to allow users to enter steps to reproduce bug and include the log file.
