The third alpha release of MAL Updater OS X is released. This adds support for Anime Relations. This reduce the need to maintain the older system, Auto Exceptions which is cumbersome. Auto Exceptions is now renamed to Auto Title Correction, which will automatically correct problematic titles.
To update to this build, simply check for updates. If you are not using the prerelease update branch already, you can enable experimental builds by enabling “Check for experimental builds” in Software Updates preferences. Note that this is for advanced users only and the 2.5 builds will have bugs.
You can also download the alpha at Github.
The change log is below.
- Add support for Anime Relations, replaces Auto Exceptions for zero episodes, split-cours and abnormal episode numberings.
Bug Fixes and Enhancements
- Auto Exceptions renamed to Auto Title Correction
- Improve Auto Title Correction for titles that have a season number
- MAL Updater OS X does not set the start and end date since those fields are not implemented in the new API yet.
