After some delay due to being busy with work and the whole coronavirus thing, Shukofukurou 3.4 for macOS is now released. This release mostly contains some fixes and MyAnimeList support, which doesn’t pertain to AniList. Also, local update history is now added. This update will be added to the AppCast for non-App Store release soon. This update is now available for App Store users.
New Features
- MyAnimeList support restored
- Added Local Update History
Bug Fixes and Enhancements
- Fix bug where parsing of some Kitsu entries or viewing of some title information on Kitsu causes the app to crash.
- Fix Stream Links retrieval.
April Updates
Now that iOS 13.4 is now out, I want to optimize the app for mouse support Currently, you can’t right click, but instead have to slide to view the additional options. We will be adding additional options for entries in the next minor release.
In addition, we will start work on the list syncing (e.g. syncing list changes between different services). This will replace the import features for AniList and Kitsu, which will be removed in the next release as list syncing will replace it. This feature will allow users to periodically sync changes to other services (e.g. Anilist to Kitsu and/or MyAnimeList).
This feature also allows users to update an entry (only progress and status) on one service and applying it to other services automatically Note that list syncing will only be a donor feature since it requires some API infrastructure with the title id mapping web service and the time to implement it. Hopefully this feature will help save users time if he or she uses multiple services to manage libraries. This feature will initially come to the macOS version first before coming to the iOS/iPadOS version. We will release a test version once it’s ready.
