Shukofukurou for iOS 1.3 is mostly a feature parityrelease to bring it a bit closer to the macOS version of Shukofukurou. 1.3 will bring these two new major features.
Scrobbling
While Shukofukurou for iOS cannot automatically detect what you are playing, you can easily update your lists based on what you are watching. The “Share” functionality in iOS allows us to retrieve the show and episode information from what you are currently watching in Safari or from Crunchyroll’s history and use that to update your list. With this, you do not have to manually go into the app and update the entry for yourself.
Since the first Beta build, we added support for VRV and Hidive from the Safari web browser. The corresponding apps are not compatible since there is no share functionality for either services. However, these services will work in Safari.
List Exporting
Another feature we added is List Exporting. You can now export your lists to MAL XML or JSON format so you can have a backup of your lists.
After exporting, your exported lists are available in the exported lists section. You need to swipe left to see the options to export or delete the exported lists.
If you tap the export icon, you will see the destinations to store your exported lists, including the ability to upload it to your favorite cloud storage service or send it to your Mac using AirDrop.
The latest Beta version is available only for active Patrons, but it will be available for all users who downloaded the application late next week. If you want to test, you can learn more on how to become a Patron on this page and the benefits included with it.
