Shukofukurou 3.2.6 Now Released

February 25, 2019 By malupdaterosxdev

Shukofukurou 3.2.6 is now released with minor improvements. This version implements a new Patreon licensing system. In the past, if you authorized a Patreon account with Shukofukurou/Hachidori, it could only be used on one Mac. Otherwise, the accounts on other Macs will get deauthorized eventually. This new system uses automatically generated license keys so you only need to enter a Patreon key. The key will be valid as long you have an active pledge and is good for all versions, including major version updates.

The Patreon licensing portal can be accessed on the Patreon Resources page (requires an active pledge). This new system will be implemented to Hachidori very soon.

The change log is below.

New Features

  • Added improved system to unlock donor features for active Patrons.

Bug Fixes and Enhancements

  • Implement new Title ID Mapper
  • Add character browser support for Manga (AniList)
  • Fix Reddit related links
  • Clear user id and user name for the service the user logged out of.

Also, for the iOS version, there is a bug with Authorization and Background Refresh. Shukofukurou for iOS stores the credentials in a Keychain. However, the account information is only available when the device is unlocked, thus causing issues with the app losing the ability to retrieve those credentials, thus making some operations that require login not to work. For a temporary workaround, you can disable Background Refresh for Shukofukurou or close out of the app and reopen it. Background refresh is used to refresh the list, retrieve new air notifications and refresh user information when the app is in the background. 1.2.1 update will fix this by setting the correct keychain accessibility so that the app won’t lose authorization when running in the background and the device is locked.
